Support for Our Children

• Grants - It is our mission to raise funds for families of children with special needs to offset the costs of therapy.
• Support Group for Teens with Special Needs - For teens with a disability, juggling puberty and the peer pressure of developing friendships and the expectations in school can be overwhelming. It is our intention to provide teens with special needs the opportunity to meet with a professional amongst a group of their peers to share their feelings and concerns in a safe and supportive environment. Mentoring will be provided on how to improve communication skills, social interactions and build on friendship facilitation techniques.
• Sibling Support Group – It is our intention that this program will allow siblings of special needs children a place where they can talk about their feelings and meet other children they can relate to as well as attend group functions where the focus can be on them.
