Parent Support Programs
- Monthly Support Meetings - Parents, therapists and educators can gather once a month to discuss topics of interest, share information and resources and discuss concerns with the children in their lives. Respite care is available for your children (advanced registration required).
- Online Community Chat – Internet based Yahoo Group for Care to Share members to share information on upcoming workshops and trainings on a variety of topics within the community, share stories or information on new programs, products or services they have tried. A virtual network that allows families to connect anytime they need it.
- Respite Care Recruitment Program - This program recruits potential in-home respite care providers with families of children with special needs who need childcare. This program allows families and their children the opportunity to have some independence as well as creating job and relationship building opportunities for respite care providers. This program is run in two phases which include recruitment and training of providers and then recruitment and interviews between families and potential providers.

- Father Support Group – It is our intention to provide fathers of children with special needs the opportunity to meet and talk to one another in a safe, open environment.
- Lectures, Workshops and Trainings - We provide a variety of workshops for parents, therapists and educators. Programs may include: therapeutic resources, IEP’s (working with your school districts), insurance reimbursement, as well as additional topics of interest related to the world of disabilities. Experts in their services area run all programs. CTS do not condone or endorse any speaker or service.
